Lina Lövstrand ”Woodwind Stories” + Per ”Texas” Johansson

Over the years, Lina Lövstrands and Per ”Texas” Johanssons have played together on theatre stages and in various big bands. From their many collaborations came the idea of ​​exploring different possibilities and soundscapes that their instruments are able to create.
Lina has here invited ”Texas” to a unique collaboration. In addition to their main instruments, flute and saxophone respectively, duos are created with e.g. bass clarinet, bassoon, recorder, bass flute etc. Lina’s compositions are here embellished with a luxurious woodwind sound, here in full freedom together with experienced and creative musicians; Leo Lindberg, Fredrik Olsson, Lars Ekman and Niklas Bodin.

Woodwind Stories takes the audience on a journey through groove and swing, in a whimsical and intricate musical journey where every concert seem to have endless possibilities.
