Kathrine Windfeld (DK) has quickly established herself as one of Scandinavia’s foremost new composers and arrangers in jazz.
The Guardian (UK) describes Windfeld’s compositions as a rare combination of power and elegance: a colorful mix of sophisticated harmonic passages, physical grooves and poetic ballads in explosive arrangements.
Windfeld’s handpicked sextet of virtuoso musicians from Denmark, Sweden and Poland perform her compositions with both elegance and enthusiastic drive.
