Jazz vocalist Signe Misgeld is one of Sweden’s young stars who, in her own confident way, is taking over the Stockholm jazz scene. The singer writes music inspired by modern jazz, pop and folk songs. With influences from Cecile McLorint Salvant, Gretchen Parlato and Joshua Redman, the singer performs her music in a heartfelt way with a unique charisma. From catchy riffs to lyrical melodies, she creates a nuanced atmosphere with lyrics about longing, curiosity and trees.
