Samuel Hanes Trio
With a modern guitar sound the trio performs original compositions as well as interpretations of jazz standards.
Samuel Hanes is a jazz guitarist born in Umeå but moved to Stockholm at the age of 20 to start his studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, he also studied at the Conservatory of music in Paris.
After his studies he lived in Berlin for a while and got the chance to get acquainted with the
Berlin jazz scene. Samuel is now back living in Sweden and is mainly active in Stockholm,
he has played at various places in the Stockholm jazz scene and has also performed in
Paris and Switzerland.
With a modern guitar sound he performs his original compositions as well as interpretations
of jazz standards.
