Mary sings personal interpretations of jazz from the American songbook, Sting, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder etc. to the accompaniement of Göran Lindelöw Trio.
GL3 also play instrumental jazz by Thelonious Monk, Sonny Rollins, Charlie Mingus etc.
Mary Blomqvist, from Kiruna, is an vocalist with her roots in both soul and hazz and has put on pub shows and performed with Norrbotten Big Band. She teaches music classes in afro american song. Göran Lindelöw is active in several different Stockholm based jazz, blues and latin groups. GL3 has played with, among others, Karl-Martin Almqvist, Johan Hörlén, Krister Andersson and Karl Olandersson.
