La La Lars
One of Sweden's more renowned jazz drummers and composers presents his warm and melodic instrumental jazz.
Since the early 2000s, Lars Skoglund has made a name for himself as the drummer behind a number of successful Swedish artists – frequently called upon both on stage and in the studio: Lykke Li’s band leader, member of the critically acclaimed jazz group Oddjob, Markus Krunegård – the list goes on.
In 2017, he took the step as a composer and producer when he, together with some of the absolute favorite musicians in Swedish jazz, recorded his first solo album under the name La La Lars. The band lasted and in 2022 the album La La Lars III was nominated for the Grammis for Jazz of the Year.
Now he is back with the sequel – La La Lars IV.
