Louis Cole and Genevieve Artadi (with full band) will perform at Slaktkyrkan during the Stockholm Jazz Festival, delivering a long-awaited dose of future funk and rhythms from another (jazz fusion) world.
Louis Cole and Genevieve Artadi have nurtured KNOWER as their primary project since they met in 2009. Gradually, they have cultivated a large global following with their infectious jazz fusion funk, fantastic vocal arrangements, and compelling presence on stage and online. With an impressive ability for artistic freedom and a DIY spirit, they have released five albums and collaborated with prominent musicians worldwide. All this through their own independent record label, driven forward by a clear musical vision.
The music KNOWER creates is both intricate and innovative, yet remarkably direct and easy to embrace. Swift tempos and catchy beats seamlessly transition into captivating vocal harmonies that can enchant anyone! And the transitions can be sudden and unexpected.
