Erik Söderlind meets Jonny Ek

Self-written music inspired by the jazz repertoire of the 50s and 60s (Wes Montgomery/Wynton Kelly/Cannonball/John Coltrane etc.)

Erik Söderlind is one of the most well-known artists of the jazz scene in Sweden, and has been awarded several times for his musicality. From a young age he was influenced by Wes Montgomery, George Benson and Grant Green and over the years he has developed his personal sound, both modern and deeply grounded in the jazz tradition of swing and blues.

Now he is part of a collaboration with the pianist Jonny Ek, who released his debut album in 2021, Live at the Valley. Together they offer self-written music inspired by the 50s and 60s
