Elvira Lundstedt from Sandviken is a new whirlwind on the Swedish jazz scene. Her unique stage presence and charisma are combined with wonderful grooves and touching improvisations. Elvira’s confident and passionate voice captivates and impresses! The shooting star is currently studying at the Academy of Music in Stockholm and has her sights set on the big stages where she belongs.
Tenor saxophonist Klas Toresson stands out with his warm tone and strong melodic sense, making his saxophone playing go straight to the listener’s heart. He has freelanced as a jazz saxophonist all his adult life, played with all the greatest and is an important voice on the Swedish jazz scene.
This evening will offer swinging as well as heartfelt versions of our favorite standards where energy, curiosity and passion are at the center. Anything can happen!
