Bob Hansson + Backlura (med Cecilia Persson)
One of Sweden's most acclaimed poets, Bob Hansson, joins forces with jazz musician Tobias Wiklund (Tobias Wiklund Quartet, Håkan Hellström and Dramaten) to create a unique musical universe together with the band Backlura.
Their concert offers a unique experience where the spoken word is integrated as a natural part of the music’s interplay, improvisation and responsiveness. It is a meeting of two art forms that successfully create something with ne2rv and presence. Tobias Wiklund’s versatile compositions range from image-creating spheres to powerfully swinging jazz music, always close to Bob’s poetry that dynamically drives the music forward and immerses itself in dizzying improvisations. In this project, Backlura has also included the expressive pianist Cecilia Persson as a guest in this the project. Together, the group embraces the weak dynamics and the intense interplay. This is an invitation to an incomparable musical journey where some of Sweden’s most acclaimed jazz musicians seamlessly meet one of the most
