Science Fair
Norwegian/Swedish/Estonian young piano-based quintet with melodic compositions in town for the jazz festival.
Science Fair is a Norwegian/Swedish/Estonian quintet originating from the jazz scene in Trondheim. The compositions are written and arranged by pianist Anna Ueland and have been inspired by Atomic, Flukten, Carla Bley and Bjørn Marius Hegge.
The core of the music is a close interplay that allows the musicians’ individuality to take great place and where the compositions are melodically anchored with intuitive melodies that are challenged with conceptual harmonics. This is music based on freedom and energy!
