Musvit
MUSViT is a jazz group that mainly plays in southern Sweden and Denmark, playing newly composed genre-crossing music that is most easily described as chordless powerhouse jazz pop.
MUSViT delivers a broad but personal sound where each member’s unique musical background contributes to the band’s unique sound, where everything from free jazz, grand pop, and electronic music is part of the blissful mix. The four musicians met in 2022 at Skurups Folkhögskola and have since played around Denmark and Malmö, and now have the aim of taking the music to new scenes. Right now, they are also working on a lot of new music that will be released soon. The band is also the winner of JazzDanmark’s prestigious “Jazzkonkurrencen” 2024, after playing a bunch of concerts in Denmark, including at the legendary Jazzhus Montmartre where they also won. MUSViT is a band that will soon be spreading its wings all over Europe, and is something that should not be missed!
