Jon Rekdals Orkester-is directed by Jon Rekdal trumpeter, singer, pianist, composer and bandleader. Since the mid -1980s.

Jon Rekdal’s Orkester has played clubs around Stockholm ever since then. 2002 the band got hired to play in New York, from there they ventured to Hollywood and New Orleans but never left Stockholm. His unique piano playing and sensitive vocals and occasional horn riffs lets off an air of life experience from the biggest American cities in the east, the west and the south.

Andreas Kleerup was the original drummer in Jon Rekdals Orkester #3. He came along on the first New York tour in 2002 after which Jon embarked on his US mission and Kleerup returned to Sweden to later rise to stardom in his own right scoring a #1 hit in the UK.

This very evening the two Swedish music titans reunite for an evening of well crafted classic jazzy and funky-bossanova beats and tunes, penned by Jon Rekdal.

Jakob Einarsson keeps the baseline pumping. The hard swinging funky-Bossanova Casanova will whip the audience into a rowdy madness you will come to remember.
