Frida Öhrn & The Blue Sounds

Enjoy the talented singer Frida Öhrn together with the jazz trio The Blue Sounds next to the magnificent warship Vasa.

Frida Öhrn has performed with legends such as Arne Domnérus and Charlie Norman before she had her breakthrough with the super hit ”Release Me”. She has also performed with Cookies ’n’ Beans, interpreted the Swedish poet Pär Lagerqvist together with Bo Sundström and have had success with her solo project Öhrn.

The Blue Sounds consists of Patrik Boman (double bass), Jesper Kviberg (drums) and Carl Orrje (piano) and have been on Sweden’s jazz scene in the last twenty years. Together with Frida’s characteristic voice and stage expression, they create new personal interpretations of jazz treasures from the 1930s and four decades on.
