Fauna + Græns

Fauna delivers an organic, psychedelic, and danceable experience. The music is a meditative ritual where the listener finds themselves enveloped by rhythms. You’re pulled through the bushes and thickets by a compelling, volcanic pulse. Time and space lose their meaning in a mind-bending journey through the forest.

Græns is exploratory music – without being difficult. Sometimes you can dance to it, other times you just stand there, tripping out and wondering what’s happening, but it still feels gött. Drawing inspiration from all sorts of sources – Swedish old-school psychedelia, North Africa and the Middle East, The Upsetter, autotune, vocoder, headless bass, and experimental ventures. This spring, they released a new 7-inch on the Gothenburg-based label Fauna. That single pointed out their new direction and the members who now make up Græns – come along further into the music and see what happens.
