Tisdag På Torsdag

Simple riffs, clear melodies and mixed with good mood and bad posture together with free improvisations and a lovely messy turn.

The trio that met at Bollnäs Folkhögskola and now have two albums under their belt. The first album was released in the spring of 2022 and contains interpretations of classic Swedish children’s music interpreted in the band’s very own way, which is best described as ”happy free jazz”.
A year later came the band’s second album, which is a live compilation of the band’s own music recorded during a tour in the fall of 2023.
On the album, the band addresses topics such as: longing for Mjölby, how cymbals break and drinks from the 70s.
The music written by the composing duo Sigge Andersson and Max Oskarsson has (by no one at the moment, but it’s probably only a matter of time) been likened to the Lennon-McCartney of free jazz. The songs are based on simple riffs, clear melodies and are with a good mood and bad posture mixed together with free improvisations and a lovely messy swing.
All this is served together with the always cap-wearing Noah Jonsson on the bass violin.
Prepare yourself for an evening marked by improvisation where you go home afterwards and think to yourself: ”What did I just see?”, ”Is that what today’s youth call music?”, ”Should the instruments sound like that?”, ”That was awesome! I want to see those guys again!”

Lineup:
Max Oskarsson - woodwinds,
Noah Jonsson - bass,
Sigge Andersson - drums
