On stage, a world-class trio with Christina von Bülow and in the repertoire there is mostly music by and associated with the master Bernt Rosengren.
The trio Gustafsson/Backenroth/Stark was for more than 20 years the core of the Bernt Rosengren Quartet – they made 5 CDs, one of which (I’m Flying) received the Golden Disc award.
Christina has long been considered one of Denmark’s foremost alto saxophonists.
She leads several different ensembles of her own and has often been a guest with BRQ.
