Stampen Jazz Jam with Jon Henriksson & band – an evening for new and established talents in the spirit of jazz!
Jon Henriksson is a double bassist who has collaborated with many of the leading musicians around Scandinavia. For this concert, he has brought together some of his favorite musicians to play music from the American Songbook. The band consists of two top young Danish musicians, Oilly Wallace on saxophone and Pelle Von Bülow on guitar, both of whom have made a name for themselves on the Danish and Scandinavian music scene in the last 10 years. As well as one of Sweden’s most sought-after jazz drummers, Jonas Bäckman. In 2021, the quartet did a gig that was also recorded and received great appreciation across Europe. Now they are reunited at Stampen to offer an energetic and colorful concert before the stage is opened up for jams.
