Sebastian Mattebo quartet feat. Linus Lindblom
Hard swinging jazz in an unusual setting.
Saxophonist Sebastian Mattebo is a fearless and versatile musician who constantly seeks new paths.
He leads and composes for several of his own ensembles, most recently featured with the EP “The Mire” on the Tengtones label. In addition to his own projects, he is a frequently hired sideman and has played with bands such as the Stockholm Jazz Orchestra and the EBU’s Euroradio Jazz Orchestra. In 2025, he was named one of three finalists in the Royal Swedish Academy of Music’s competition “Blåsmusikpriset Jazz.”
The multi-award-winning tenor saxophonist Linus Lindblom is one of Sweden’s most sought-after saxophonists.
Based in Stockholm and a member of the Bohuslän Big Band, he is a familiar face on Sweden’s jazz stages both east and west. With his unmistakable sound, Lindblom brings a personal touch to every piece of music he takes on.
Together with vibraphonist Jesper Söderqvist, double bassist Johan Tengholm, and drummer Jonas Bäckman, they perform selected favorites from the standard repertoire — like you’ve never heard them before.
