Sara Fischer – Le Grand Jazz

LE GRAND JAZZ
The French jazz pianist and composer Michel Legrand established himself early on as one of the greatest in jazz. His beloved compositions, with their strong melodies, intricate chord progressions, and lyrical sound, were deeply influenced by the cool, romantic era in Paris during the 1950s and 60s. Cole Porter, who lived and worked in France for many years, was in many ways a great source of inspiration for Legrand.

This evening, Legrand’s incredible music (along with a selection of Cole Porter’s compositions) will be interpreted by the quartet
