Kouts Quartet

Kouts Quartet is a quartet characterized by a vulnerable, dynamic, and expressive sound. We primarily perform original compositions that move between modern jazz and improvisation. Our music explores topics such as loss, friendship, joy, and injustice — experiences we believe resonate with us all. From our hands and hearts, we let the music flow to your souls — and back again. The concert at S:ta Clara Bierhaus marks the beginning of the release process for our debut album, which will be physically released in January 2026, featuring Staffan Svensson as guest artist. It also kicks off a series of new collaborations and exciting encounters on stage. With that said, a special guest is promised on stage on October 19! Stay tuned!
