Jubileumsorkestern is back and invites you to a concert and dance evening in the basement of Scala.
Jubileumsorkestern is an entertainment orchestra born from the deep valleys of Astrid Lindgren’s World in Vimmerby. The musicians in the orchestra have put together a repertoire of Swedish kiosk tumblers from the first half of the 20th century and songs from Georg Riedel’s song collection. With a focus on sing-alongs, swings and languishing pieces, Jubileumsorkestern hopes that even the stiffest of hips can take a turn on the dance floor. Bring compeed-plasters and skin ointment, we will also have buckets available for any seasickness caused by the groove (we cannot be responsible for that).
