Josefin’s New Orleans Gang

Irresistibly street jazz from the glory days of New Orleans is interspersed with beautiful vocal melodies from the swing era. An acoustic band in authentic New Orleans style with tuba, banjo, drums, trumpet, two clarinets and vocals. The repertoire is inspired by artists such as King Oliver, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday. The band started in 2018, is based in Stockholm and has hundreds of gigs under its belt. The singer Josefin likes to challenge mentor Tommy Löbel in two-part clarinet playing.
