Jonny Ek Trio

A piano trio playing jazz in the tradition of Barry Harris, Elmo Hope and other pioneers from the ’50s–’60s.

The trio consists of three musicians, all of whom studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, united by a shared love for the jazz tradition. Drawing inspiration from pioneers like Barry Harris, Elmo Hope, and others from the 1950s and ’60s, the trio plays music where melody, rhythm, and interplay take center stage!
