George’s Gershwin’s ”Porgy & Bess” – Palmberg/Olsson/Dimming/Djeridi

George Gershwin’s beloved opera ”Porgy and Bess” is one of the great musical treasures of the 20th century. With a capturing plot and ear-catching hits such as Summertime, I Loves You Porgy, It Ain’t Necessarily So, to name a few, it has been interpreted in many different contexts. This evening we will experience an abbreviated concert version of this master piece in a minimal setting – a jazz group consisting of trumpet, guitar, double bass and drums.
