Scalateatern’s own jazz star Emmalisa Hallander, accompanied by Per Texas Johansson among others, invites you to an evening of singing, swinging and good hanging out in Scalateatern’s foyer bar!

The jazz singer Emmalisa Hallander has emerged with clarity on the Swedish jazz scene in recent years. The music magazine Lira named the vocalist and composer ”breakthrough of the year 2023”, and several have compared her to greats such as Alice Babs and Anita O’day. Despite her young age, she has managed to sell out Fasching under her own name, toured with Peter Asplund, sang as a soloist with the Stockholm Jazz Orchestra, received several scholarships and, not least, produced and released her debut album, ’Have a Look Inside’. Now she is also in the Svenska Revyn at the Scalateatern, and this evening steps down to the foyer together with her hit-and-miss band to offer top-class vocal jazz!
