ELW jazztett
In ELW jazztett, Svenne Larsson gives a new voice to the music of Bernt Rosengren and Eje Thelin as well as to American standards!
ELW jazztett has existed since 2007 but then went under the name Ellman Larsson Constellation. The band then recorded the CD Consequences on the Four Leaf Clover label. The three wind instrument players have their roots in the jazz tradition of the 1950s and 60s. Masterpieces by geniuses such as Benny Golson, Tadd Dameron and Duke Ellington make up a large part of the repertoire. To this we add Swedish classical gems by, among others, Lars Gullin, Bernt Rosengren and Eje Thelin. The music we play is mostly arranged by Svenne Larsson.
