Elin Forkelid
On the new record Songs To Keep You Company On A Dark Night Elin explores a more contemplative side of her artistry. Kenny Wheelers album Angel Song from 1997 has served as inspiration for this project.
Elin Forkelid has for the last 15 years been a key figure in Swedish Jazz. Both a composer and band leader for projects like Elin Larsson Group, SOL SOL and Elin Forkelid Plays for Trane, she has also worked with, among others, Anna Högberg Attack, Vilhelm Bromander Unfolding Orchestra, Marina Almgren Majestic, and FIRE! Orchestra.
