With clear musical roots, they play their own music mixed with more and less well-known compositions from their musical role models, such as McCoy Tyner and John Coltrane.
Led by international saxophonist and composer Håkan Broström, Broström/Jessen/Boqvist/Normark play their own music mixed with songs by greats such as John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock and McCoy Tyner. The band’s musical influences are clearly discernible, while the musicians’ own personalities come through in both their playing and their own compositions.
After a year of continuous playing, they have found their own sound that is constantly evolving.
