Anna Wahrby band

Anna Wahrby sings her own swedish lyrics with songs from the American Songbook. The lyrics are often inspired by the original but usually have a different meaning and a new story.
Saxophonist Catharina Wiborgh plays in several groups, including Bag Ladies, Brazilian Love Affair, and the Olle Eilestam Quartet with Ronnie Gardiner. She has also collaborated with Spanish musicians and can be heard on the duo album Tête à Tête with Catalan pianist Dani Rambla.
Pianist and composer Peter Knudsen moves freely between jazz, classical music and Brazilian sounds. Peter has a solid education in jazz music, improvisation and teaches at Örebro University of Music. He is known from the quartet Derupeto and the octet Peter Knudsen Eight.
Bassist and composer Elis Mejhammar is back in Stockholm after a couple of years of studies in double bass at Fridhems Folk High School. Elis is educated in composition of classical art music at the Stockholm Academy of Music.
