Amanda Ginsburg & Andy Fite

A young Swedish star and a jazz veteran from New York come together in a collection of new songs. Together they express hope, longing, sympathy, sensuality, impatience, struggle, bitter regret and sweet romance.

Amanda Ginsburg quickly rose to fame in the Swedish jazz scene after releasing her debut album, for which she also received the Jazz of the Year Grammis in 2019. Since then, she has received several awards and scholarships and we have seen her in television programs such as Allsång på Skansen, Nyhetsmorgon and Helt Lyriskt. She, who sings like an angel with an exciting combination of innocence and wisdom, is becoming more and more popular in Sweden.

Andy Fite came to Sweden from New York City in 1994. He is a virtuoso on both guitar and vocals and has written both lyrics and music for over 850 songs. He now has 56 albums on Spotify, including one with Amanda, The Nicest Thing in the World. Their second album, Everybody Loves You, was released in the spring of 2023.

The two have played together for about 13 beautiful years and over time have developed a rare interplay, wild improvisation and a great deal of humor. Now they are expanding to a quartet with Magnus Peterson on bass and Sebastian Voegler on drums, which makes the music even fuller and more swinging.

Lineup:
Amanda Ginsburg - Sång
Andy Fite - Gitarr, sång

Sebastian Voegler - Trummor
