Alf Carlsson

Alf Carlsson is a Swedish jazz guitarist based in Stockholm. His
solo debut ”Lights”, released in 2023 on Swedish Naxos Prophone, has received
much attention in Swedish and international media, including
an article in the world’s largest jazz guitar magazine ”Jazz Guitar Today”.
He has also won together with the international project Alf
Carlsson / Jiří Kotača ”Best jazz album of the year 2024”, a
equivalent to a grammy in the Czech Republic ”Ceny Andel Prize”.

Alf will be coming to Scalateatern with his Swedish quartet, strongly inspired
by modern jazz and Swedish folk music in a unique combination!
